Following are the anecdotes of my daily routine, collected from yesterday's fresh green page of my diary.
6.40am: Teriyaki Boyz screaming on top. My cell phone's ringing volume can't get any higher. Time to get out of my ever-tempting bed.
7.30am: Tell him to switch off the iPod. Enough playing with Apple and his workouts. Office hour's calling fast.
8.10am: My cab's waiting outside the gate. The iPod comes to my possession now. My knight in shining armor is gonna save me from the traffic hustles. At least there'll be peace for 30 minutes.
9am: Same boring place – my work station. Oh Techno Lords, save me from this mortal-manned hell. I know I have to struggle a full 9 hours slot. Struggle for survival. The Lords responded. My recreation – G Talk. Finally peace again! Although temporary.
1pm: Lunch time! Rats already started playing hide-and-seek inside my unreasoning belly. The sweet dish? His sweet nothings over my cell phone.
6.10pm: I'm rushing back to my ever-tempting bed. No time for the world.
10.30pm: Such a nice day I had! (What's new, I hardly realize. But what's wrong in thinking that way?) My regular time to meet buddies. I'm quite punctual in that. Thank you Orkut. G Talk is on again. Techno Lords reciprocate their worshippers' prayers.
12.45am: Good night, sweetheart. Sleep tight. Teriyaki Boyz will sing out loud again. iPod will accompany me through unavoidable road-pangs. And G Talk will stand by me, in every hectic minute.
This is how I'm living my life these days. Office, home, Internet, bed. The road never goes offside. Life goes full circle. All day long. All night through. Where's the time to dream?
